We were faced with the complexity of how to move a family member not only from one ALF to another with a higher level of care but also across states, including all the logistics and services, and doing this all within a short span of time. Paul was extremely helpful on all parts of the process and knowledge, understanding negotiation factors, and knowledgeable about many areas we otherwise would not have thought to consider. That ranges from the initial short-list to the agreement signing and move-in preparation to exiting the previous ALF, as well as other resources to help in the process from his network. Don't waste your time working with anyone else. Just call Paul! I had just about thrown in the towel after spending hours, days and weeks looking for a reasonable alternative for my Dad who was beginning to run low on money in the long term at his current Assisted Living space. It appeared that the nursing home option might be the only solution which would have been devastating to him (and us). I threw a "Hail Mary" to Paul Jones at Care Concierge without much hope after our initial conversation. Shortly thereafter Paul called me with news that I thought could not be true; that he had found an incredibly reasonable option within the proper geographical area. To make a long story short, we moved dad in 3 days ago and we could not be happier for him! Paul made the impossible possible and we cannot thank him enough! ~ James S

I was faced with a very unfamiliar situation and Paul was recommend. To say he is fantastic is such an understatement. He answered all of my questions and even answered questions I forgot to ask. He checked in with me on a regular basis to see how I was doing. ME not my mom! After discussing my options I scheduled a tour of the facility. I can't say enough about how incredible Paul is and how valuable his services are. I first contacted him when I was investigating assisted living options for my mother. He came to my house to meet, took copious notes regarding her health and lifestyle/preferences, and quickly got back to me with three different options, customized to our needs with explanations as to how and why he chose them. Sadly, less than a year later my mom needed to move to a nursing home as her health was deteriorating rapidly. Even though Paul focuses on assisted living rather than nursing home placement, he came to the rescue again and gave me a referral to a nursing home which wasn't on our proverbial radar screen yet provided a perfect fit. Transition in living arrangements and care for the elderly are incredibly stressful for both the patient and the family. There are myriad factors to consider and the wide availability of options for care can be complex and confusing, adding to the emotional toll associated with the need for additional care. Paul knows elder care and elder care options in Rhode Island like no one else and, perhaps more important, is an empathetic listener who truly care about the families he assists. ~ Jeff M
